Finding opportunities to engage in undergraduate research outside of your home institution is not always easy. I've put together a list of funded research experiences that I've encountered. Please let me know if any information is found to be outdated or incorrect, or if you have anything to add!
Many federally funded research programs do not provide support for undocumented students, creating an unnecessary barrier for these students. The following resources have compiled opportunities that are available to undocumented students in physics and other fields: UndocuSTEM, REUFinder

Domestic Research International Research Aerospace Research OutreachNSF Database of REUs. Various topics of physics and astronomy. Plenty of options in most fields of physics and astronomy.
Deadline: February. Work with researchers at Oak Ridge National Lab. Summer and Semester appointments.

Deadline: Late January. Computational physics research at Los Alamos National Lab.
Deadline: February 15. Astronomy research at UT Austin for underserved and traditionally marginalized students.
Deadline: Early February. Research and long term mentorship for underrepresented students in STEM.
Deadline: February 22. Summer research at Caltech in various fields.
Deadline: January 12. Summer research at Caltech in various fields with a focus on underrepresented groups.
Deadline: February. Summer research in many fields at Big Ten schools.
Deadline: January 31. Summer astronomy research at Carnegie Observatories for students from Southern California.
Deadline: November 8. Week long workshop at UMD aimed at underrepresented students, particularly from the east coast region, including professional development, workshops, and research projects.
Deadline: ???. Unique summer research program at Harvard for underrepresented students, particularly students of color, for astronomy research. Includes various training and social justice education.
Deadline: February 15. Summer undergraduate research program at Yale, open to undergraduates who've completed their first year, of any nationality.
Deadline: April. Primarily experimental and theoretical nuclear physics -- but not exclusively! Two months in Italy! Housing and travel likely not included.
Deadline: Mid December. Summer research in many fields of physics and astronomy -- in Germany!
